Information for Current Students

Registration for Winter Intersession, and Spring 2019 classes opens at 7am on November 9, 2018. Some students will be registering later than others, depending on number of hours and academic standing.  You can see your Enrollment Date on the right hand side in your Student Center.

All UNIS majors must be advised in order to register for classes. Students currently enrolled (Fall 2018) will receive an email with instructions on scheduling advising in October 2018. All appointments must be scheduled online. Advising for non-registration issues is also available - such issues can include discussing course drops (during the applicable period each semester), degree planning, concerns about grades, etc.

Each semester, when we begin accepting advising appointments, we encourage you to schedule as early as possible. Academic success depends in large part on wise planning, which includes registering as soon as you are able, to maximize your chance of getting into courses that are the best fit for you.

You can also check the resources listed on the Advising Page.

In order to participate in the ceremony, graduation candidates must fill out the Commencement Ceremony RSVP Form by the 4pm deadline on (TBD). Those who complete the form before the deadline and have been approved to participate will receive ticket instructions to obtain tickets for their guests in their MavMail account from UTA. When the University lets us know date of ticket distribution, we will contact those who submitted their RSVP.

Candidates who submit their RSVP and application late or who do not confirm their RSVP to participate will not receive instructions to print tickets in their MavMail account. We also cannot guarantee the maximum number of guest tickets.

You will need a GRADUATE (not a guest) ticket for entry into the College Park Center west doors. All guest tickets will enter in the north doors. When you pull your tickets, you should also get automatically, a graduate ticket. You must bring this with you to enter.

Guests over the age of two must have a ticket to attend the ceremony. All seats are first come, first served basis. Amount of tickets are limited to the amount of each graduating candidate attending.
