To apply for financial aid for the Summer 2019 semester, a UTA student will need to complete the 2019-2020 FAFSA application. If eligible, an undergraduate student can receive a Federal Pell Grant, Federal Direct Loan, and Federal Work-Study.
The 2019-2020 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) became available on October 1, 2018. If you are not sure which FAFSA to complete or what information is required, please review the chart below.

After completing your FAFSA application, you will be notified via your UTA email account once your FAFSA has been received as well as if any documents are required to complete your financial aid file.* We will also update your To Do List in your MyMav Student Center with any outstanding items.
*2019-2020 FAFSA application will be processed by our office starting December 3, 2018 (due to MyMav upgrades).

December 3, 2018: Presidential Scholar deadline
January 15, 2019: Priority date for the 2019-2020 aid year
February 15, 2019: Transfer and Maverick Academic Scholarship deadline
May 24, 2019: First disbursement of financial aid for the Summer 2019 semester begins
August 11, 2019: First disbursement of financial aid for the Fall 2019 semester begins
Please complete your 2019-2020 FAFSA application, turn in all requested documents, and be admitted to UTA by January 15, 2019, in order to qualify for maximum grant funding for the 2019-2020 aid year.
Students who complete applications or are admitted after January 15 will receive a financial aid offer based on available funds at the time the application is completed.
